The band were invited by Babcock to attaned the dockyard in Rosyth to play at the Cutting Steel ceremony on 24th February 2026 for the new Type 31 Frigate, HMS Bulldog.

The Carnegie Dunfermline Trust have awarded the Dunfermline District Pipes and Drums a £4,750 grant towards the purchase of new kilts in the Dunfermline City Tartan. This funding will allow us to wear a tartan that gives us a link directly to the Ciity. The firts wearing of the band in its new kilts is planned for Remembrance 2026, Sunday 8th November.
